In the Old Slavonic language, the adjective “fox” corresponded the definition of a yellowish, rusty and yellowish orange color, and that is typical for the color of fox common. Of the senses, foxes have the most developed smell and hearing. The fox’s vision is adapted for darkness, in which most foxes are active. Like many predators, foxes well respond to movement, but poorly recognize colors, especially in the day.
